Welcome to Gabor Racz Annual Pain Conference
Dear Friends,
We would like to welcome you to our 26th Annual Gabor Racz Advanced Interventional Pain Conference and Workshops. Over the past 25 years, we have prided ourselves on bringing the very best in pain management education; this year will be unmatched!
Our meeting will be held Thursday – Saturday, August 31st – September 2nd, 2023, with the FIPP/CIPS exam being offered on Sunday, September 3rd. Our previous programs have offered so many positive reviews while also suggesting some new and exciting topics. We have taken these suggestions very seriously and are including solid, evidence-packed materials, along with multiple interventional procedure workshops. There is no question that interventional procedures work; the conference workshops offer the practitioner and the basic scientist incredible insight into our field of chronic pain treatment.
There are always timely and hot topics that we shall touch on in greater depth. Increasing roles are found for techniques such as neuromodulation, cryo-neurolysis, entrapment neuropathies, ultrasound, regenerative medicine, and successful advances in radiofrequency. Progress continues to be made in all branches of interventional pain and leads to the recognition of the mechanism of action and why it works, which is imperative. With our amazing scientific committee comprised of some of the very best leaders across the World, I am convinced we will offer topics of interest for everyone.
Having the ability to work in conjunction with the WIP to offer both the FIPP and CIPS exams has been truly amazing. This continues to open interventional pain to so many more countries, such as Egypt, Pakistan, and Iran just to name a few. I am so very proud of the continued efforts of everyone involved with the education of these exams.
As always, I am very grateful to all of our Sponsors, whom without them, we would not be able to continue with this amazing program. We know you will enjoy this conference and come away with valuable information that will enhance the way you practice pain medicine.
We look forward to everyone’s participation in this meeting.
